Every year, on February 24, the day of the central registration is obliged to commemorate the central excise duty and the act of salt, established on February 24; 1944.The day commemorates and honors the Central Council for Indirect Taxes and Customs "(CBIC) commitment to our nation and the individuals involved with it, as well as their services. The day also encourages employees to carry out their responsibilities with the utmost commitment and honesty. Throughout the year, police Labor Day in and day out to combat corruption in the industrial sector. The Central Excise Department is central to the prosperity and industrial development of the country. The government's timely changes have made it easier to pay taxes and have increased the usage of numerous ways. The day is observed to raise awareness among citizens of the importance of the Central Board of Excise and Customs. On this day, the department hosts a variety of programmers, including workshops, seminars, cultural, educational, and awareness events. There are also several tournaments and award ceremonies. The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (formerly the Central Board of Excise and Customs) is a division of the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue. It is responsible for formulating policy on the levy and collection of customs duties, central excise, central goods and Services Tax, and IGST, as well as the prevention of smuggling and administration of matters relating to Customs, Central Excise, Central Goods and Services Tax, IGST, and Narcotics to the extent that they fall under the purview of the Board also serves as the administrative authority for its subordinate institutions, which include Custom Houses, the Central Excise and GST Commission rates, and the Central Revenues Control Laboratory.
