Weekend curfew in Delhi from Friday 10 pm to Monday 5 am amid Covid surge
Due to an increase in Covid instances, the Delhi government has enforced a weekend curfew in the national capital from Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. According to sources, all government employees will be able to "Work From Home," with the exception of those working in the Essential Services category. As Delhi witnesses a steady rise in Covid cases spurred by the Omicron surge, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will address the media shortly, and new limitations are expected to be issued. This follows a meeting held by the Delhi administration earlier this morning to discuss the Covid problem. Earlier in the day, the Delhi Chief Minister tested positive for Covid-19.
