Two held for cheating 50 people on pretext of providing jobs in Railways: Police
According to police, two men were arrested on Thursday for allegedly defrauding around 50 people under the guise of providing them with jobs in railways. The accused has been identified as a resident of Faridabad. They identified themselves as Ritesh, 26, and Mohit Rajput, 25, of Ambala, Haryana. The arrests were made after police conducted an investigation into complaints against Ritesh of duping people under the guise of getting them jobs as assistant station masters in railways. During the investigation, police conducted raids throughout Haryana and apprehended main accused Ritesh from Faridabad on Sunday, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi. During questioning, Ritesh admitted to defrauding around 50 unemployed people under the guise of providing them with jobs and stealing around Rs 50 lakh from them, according to Kalsi. said.
