The President of India has assented to the appointment of 21 Permanent Judges of various High Courts
• One lawyer and two Judicial Officers -(total 3) as Permanent Judges in Orissa High Court.
• Seven (7) Judicial Officers as Permanent Judges in Telangana High Court.
• Seven (7) lawyers as Permanent Judges in Gujarat High Court.
• Four (7) Judicial Officers as Permanent Judges in Patna High Court.
The notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice has notified that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint:
(PATNA HIGH COURT)
(1) Sandeep Kumar,
(2) Purnendu Singh,
(3) Satyavrat Verma and
(4) Rajesh Kumar Verma,
to be Judges of the Patna High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
(GUJARAT HIGH COURT)
(1) Smt. Mauna Manish Bhatt,
(2) Samir Jyotindraprasad Dave,
(3) Hemant Maheshchandra Prachchhak,
(4) Sandeep Natvarial Bhatt,
(5) Aniruddha Pradyumna Mayee,
(6) Niral Rashmikant Mehta, and
(7) Ms. Nisha Mahendrabhai Thakore,
to be Judges of the Gujarat High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
