Srinagar Police on Friday, November 5, said firing ensued between security forces and terrorists for some time in Kashmir. The incident occurred at SKIMS Hospital, Bemina. “Terrorists managed to escape taking advantage of civilian presence,” the Srinagar Police tweeted.
On October 24, a civilian was killed in cross-firing between a CRPF team and terrorists in Shopian’s Babapora, Zainapora, on October 24. The CRPF team was out for area domination when terrorists fired upon them. The CRPF team retaliated against the attack, and one person was killed during cross-firing.
One Army jawan and two policemen were injured in a gunfight with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district the same day. The Army has launched an extensive operation to flush out terrorists and their hideouts in Jammu & Kashmir.
