According to a fire department official, at least one person was injured in a blast reported at the Rohini Court in Delhi on Thursday (December 9, 2021). According to the official, the Fire Department received a call at 10.40 a.m. about the mysterious explosion inside Chamber No. 102, and dispatched at least seven fire tenders to the scene. "The blast was of low intensity, and the injured person was rushed to a nearby hospital even before the fire tenders arrived," no one was injured in the incident. Meanwhile, a lawyer told IANS that all proceedings at the court have been halted as a result of the incident. According to sources, the explosion was possibly in a laptop, but officials have yet to confirm this. People were terrified and panicked, but sources say the situation is now under control. The incident brought back memories of the dramatic Rohini Courtroom shooting incident, in which a top Delhi gangster, Jitender Singh Mann, alias Gogi, was shot dead in a courtroom on September 24 by two assailants dressed as lawyers. According to PTI, the National Security Guard (NSG), a counter-terrorism unit under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has arrived at the court.
