On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that "false narratives" are being spread about his government as part of a big conspiracy to create political instability in the country. He further suggested his party members to spread awareness regarding their party among the people. On the occasion of the BJP party's 41st foundation day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commented that “blatant lies like farmers' land will be grabbed, citizenship of some people will be annulled, the reservation will be scrapped or the Constitution will be changed are being spread by some individuals and organizations.” These false narratives are related to his government's measures like farm laws, Citizenship (Amendment) Act, and labor laws. Further, PM Modi said that “Deliberate politics is behind it. It is a very big conspiracy and it aims to trigger political instability in the country by creating misconceptions and stoking imaginary fears”. By saying this he warned his party members as this was a “serious challenge” to the BJP party. He even suggested to his party members that they should go among the masses to spread awareness. Moreover, some of the opposition parties have also criticized the laws on citizenship, and farm and labor reforms over several issues, including some of which the PM Modi has frequently rejected by calling them blatant lies. Likewise, Modi even commented on those who called the BJP an “election-winning machine” over its poll triumphs, and he accused them of double standards, saying that “rival parties and their leaders are glorified when they win. These people do not understand the maturity of the Indian people and their democracy, and nor do they appreciate citizens' hopes, expectations, and dreams. BJP party is a continuous movement to win people's hearts as it serves people for five years honestly, be it in the government or outside. The poor and rural India have embraced the BJP as for the first time they have seen 'antyodaya' (welfare of the most deprived) being realized through various schemes. ” Then the PM mentioned some welfare measures that were brought up by the BJP government.
