After revealing the first-ever electric scooter of Ola, Ola has disclosed some information about its largest two-wheeler factor which is going to set up in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu in 500-acre. The factory will be fully functioned by 2022.
Its capacity will be 10 million units in a year and Ola Electric claimed that with the full functioning of its 'FutureFactory' will have a scooter rolling off the production lines every 2 seconds. Phase 1 of the factory will be operational by June 2021 with 2 million annual productions. Along with the large area, it will be based on the model of Industry 4.0 and AI-powered with 3,000 robots. The company has also considered the environmental factor by building solar rooftop of the mega block and 100-acre forest area.
It will generate 10,000 jobs over time and along with these vendors and supplier will also generate additional jobs. Along with the production in India, this will serve as the export hub to other countries.
