Man killed during Holi celebration

The Gurugram police have arrested three people for allegedly beating to death a 45-year-old man during Holi celebrations in Gurugram's Kanhai village. The police had charged five people with murder in connection with the incident. Mithun, 29, Vivek, 21, and Asif alias Ashu, 19, have all been identified as residents of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. During questioning, the accused revealed to the police that the victim, Rajender, and the accused are relatives, and that during the Holi celebration on Friday, a verbal spat between them turned violent, and they killed Rajender with sticks and bricks on his face and head before fleeing the scene. They are all sweepers. "On Saturday, a team from Sector-40 police station led by an assistant sub-inspector apprehended the culprits in Gurugram using police techniques. Previously, a case of murder and other relevant sections of the IPC had been registered against the culprits at the Sector-40 police station based on a complaint filed by the victim's brother Aman.
