Delhi lawyers write to Delhi Police chief to file FIR against Mehbooba Mufti over her remarks in support of Aryan Khan arrest
Two Delhi lawyers have written to Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana against statements by former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti about the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan at an anti-drug rally in Mumbai .
Lawyers Vineet Jindal and Akshita from the Tis Hazari Courts pleaded with Asthana to file an FIR against Mufti under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for attempting to create hostility between communities.
In the complaint, the lawyers said that an FIR should be filed against Mehbooba Mufti for his inciting testimony to incite hatred and unrest in the communities.
Mufti, head of the People's Democratic Party, claimed that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan, was targeted by central authorities because of his last name only, claiming that Muslims were the target of composing the central voice bank. of the BJP to please.
In his statement, Mufti compared the arrest of Aryan Khan to the running over of four peasants by the son of Union Minister Ajay Mishra, Ashish Mishra, in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh on October 3, who was arrested much later. Aryan Khan's arrest, on the other hand, was a sham of justice, he said.
Today, a Mumbai court denied Aryan Khan's bail for the third time since he was arrested in the case a week ago. His release on bail for him will be negotiated on Wednesday. He has been in NCB custody since October 2, after he was arrested on the cruise ship. The Office of Narcotics Control had asked the court to extend his detention until Friday to present his response. The court later ordered the NCB to hold it until Wednesday morning and rescheduled Aryan Khan's bail hearing for Wednesday.
