What a start for KKR!! They finally got their ‘JEET’. What more could KKR have asked for, a perfect start for them, as they defeated RCB by nine wickets. Here they recorded their biggest win that is in terms of ball remaining. kkr got contributions from Varun and Andre as they both took 3 wickets and KkR opener chased down the target within 10 overs only.
Iyer contribution cant be ignored, his efforts are worth praising. He scored 41 in 27 balls, hitting 7 boundaries and a maximum.The 26 year old boy from Madhya Pradedh was picked by KKR squad at a price of 20 lakhs.However he can’t make it to playing 11 in the first seven matches of KKR. But yesterday he got a chance and got his debut cap and boom.
Iyer has played 39 t-20 matches at domestic level, since 2015. Having a strike rate of 138.33 and scoring 765 runs at 38.25, with two half centuries. Iyer also bowls handy medim pase, picking 21 wickets at 25.76. Beside t-20 he has also played 10 first class matches and A matches for Madhya Pradesh.
Iyer has enrolled himself for B. com degree, he has also enrolled himself for the CA degree . “I have decided to give up my CA and will pursue an MBA in finance”. Iyer told that he gave a lot of exams and had a decent score and he further said that he had enrolled himself into a good collage.He is very fortunate that the faculty liked cricket and saw him doing well. They gave him the cushion by taking care of his attendance, preparing notes etc he added.
Iyer says he was always a bright student, and the confidence he has for his academics is not the same for cricket. If not a carrer in cricket then I surely would have landed in a IIT, he added.
