Nepal Prime minister KP Oli said that the issue of Kalapani-Limpiadhura-Lipulek would be raised in front of India's foreign affairs minister during his visit to Nepal starting from January,14 onwards.
While addressing the Rashtriya Sabha, the upper house of Nepal, he said that the 370 km-sq area belongs to Nepal and it was in possession of the same 146 years back before India claimed it to be the area under its possession.
Oli believes that all the issues need to be solved through dialogue as it will take India-Nepal relations to heights.
The issue has been fought in the Supreme Court of Nepal and Oli has asserted that the house cannot be reinstated by the court.
Also, Oli has been strongly criticized and blamed for the downslide relationship between India and Nepal.
He has also been criticized by his political opponents and the civil society over the dissolution of the house.
