On the administrative side, the High Court will decide who should be posted as Presiding Officer in the Tribunal and whether one Presiding Officer of the Tribunal should be given an extra fee of another Tribunal once the regular Tribunal is constituted by the State Government in discussion with the High Court. In 2020, the Supreme Court issued orders prohibiting the Secretary of the Department of Law from performing the tasks of the Appellate Tribunal.
