NDMC INCREASE LICENSE FEES
The new Delhi Municipal Council has increased the license fee, there is said to be a increase of seven per cent in the license fee. This fee is the fee for grant and renewal of various trade license for 2021-22, including those for hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, lodging houses and sweet shops, official declared it on Thursday. The maximum hike that has been is seen in license fee is of 5star hotel, they were earlier required to pay Rs 61,200 per annum. From now they will have to 65,484 for the purpose.
The hike in license fee for the year 2021-22 is going to be implemented from April 1, and a senior official of the civil body said that there would be not a increase in the license fee for the small Kiosks and stalls
There is also an increase in license fee of butcher, fish mongers, there has been increase from 1200 to 1284 in their license fee. Earlier guest house up to 20 beds have to pay Rs 6100 and now they will have to pay Rs 6527. The guest house having 50 to 100 beds will have to pay 13054 instead of 12000, and those with over 100 beds will have to pay 26215, earlier they use to pay 24500.
There is a increase of approx. 800 Rs for license fee of cafes and coffee shops having more than 50 seats, the increase is from rs 12200 to rs 13054.
Earlier license fee for office canteens, sweet shops, gyms, circuses and auditoriums was 1200 and now the license fee for all these is increased to 1284. Cinema hall, dancing halls in hotel, club, spa will pay Rs 6527 instead of Rs 6500
