Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared on Friday that the three Central agriculture legislation would be repealed. Farmers greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement to rescind all three farm rules with "Kisan Ekta Zindabad" chants at the Gazipur border on Friday.
Farmers have been criticising the three agriculture legislation issued by the government. These bills are the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020, and the Farmer's Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020.
