According to an official, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) conducted a meeting on Tuesday with various stakeholders, including domestic and foreign enterprises, to discuss the proposed e-commerce strategy. Domestic and international e-commerce enterprises, as well as the domestic merchants' organization CAIT (Confederation of All India Traders) and associations associated to the MSME sector, attended the conference, according to the official.
