The third wave of Covid-19 is all most being seen in parts of the world, it is on the door of India. Member of NITI Aayog Dr. V K Paul said that 3.9 lakh cases are being reported every single day across the globe.
It is not a weather report to just listen and leave, it is a life-threatening one. Pandemic management is going to fail because of the irresponsible behavior of citizens because they are the ones who are going to ensure that it doesn't touch India.
He also referred to tourist influx in hill stations and markets like Sadar Bazaar and Janpath market in Delhi, Ranganathan street in Chennai, Vilaripatti in Tamil Nadu, Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh, and Bhushi Dam in Maharashtra, calling it a major gross violation of Covid-appropriate behavior.

Cooperation from the crowd is missing, the survey is conducted, where people stated various reasons for not wearing masks.
For instance, their reasons were like people are not comfortable wearing the mask, they forgot to wear it, unable to breathe properly, some says keeping social distance will suffice and some even go to the extent of saying that mask will not help to keep bay of Covid-19.
Dr. Paul addressed vaccine shortage and medical waste as well. As far as vaccine shortage is concerned, everything is dynamic and happening in coordination with the state government, he said. Addressing medical waste he stated that all SoP [standard operating procedures] are set and any negligence could be threatening. State governments need to take an appropriate call on that."
