Tata Motors NSE 3.13 per cent, the world's largest automaker, announced on Monday that from January 1, 2022, it will raise the prices of its commercial vehicles. The business said in a statement that a price increase in the range of 2.5 per cent will be implemented and fully implemented across sectors - M&HCV, I&LCV, SCV, and Bus, based on each model and variant of the vehicle.
Last month, Maruti Suzuki raised car pricing as well, citing increased input cost pressures. Prices of goods, raw materials, and other input expenses have continued to grow, according to Tata Motors President Passenger Vehicles Business Shailesh Chandra.
