Archana Reddy, a 42-year-old Bengaluru woman, was murdered as a result of a property dispute and an affair, according to police, who have made seven arrests in the case. According to the police, Archana's first husband's 21-year-old daughter was having an affair with her second husband, Naveen, 33. The daughter, Yuvika Reddy, 21, was also demanding her share of the ancestral property, which her mother refused to give up, according to the police. Yuvika, Naveen, and his aides Santosh Kumar (29), Anupam Sinha (24), Narendra (30), and Anand have all been arrested (29). Archana Reddy, a Bellandur resident, was hacked to death by a group of men near Hosa road around 10.30 p.m. on Monday night as she drove home in her car. Her minor son from her first marriage was also present. According to police sources, "after her divorce, Archana married a gym trainer who moved in with her." However, a few months ago, she discovered that Naveen was having an affair with Yuvika. She threw Naveen out of the house, and Yuvika followed suit to be with Navin. However, the duo began to run out of money after Archana stopped giving money to both Yuvika and Naveen." According to sources, Yuvika began demanding her mother's share of the property, which the latter denied. At the same time, Archana, according to the police, had befriended another person named Rohith, with whom she planned to cause trouble for Naveen. Yuvika is supposed to have told Naveen about it after learning about it. According to the police, Naveen and his friends plotted to kill Archana when she arrived in Jigani to vote in the gramme panchayat elections on Monday. According to the police, Archana comes from a wealthy family and inherited a large amount of ancestral property. "While Yuvika and Naveen clearly did it for money, we have yet to determine the motivation of Naveen's friends." We need to know if it was a contract killing or if there are any other possibilities. "The accused are being held in police custody for questioning," a police officer said.
