After Pakistan defeated India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, veteran Pakistan bowler Shoaib Akhtar made a subtle jab at his old pal and form

On Sunday, India and Pakistan met in the T20 World Cup at

the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Babar Azam,

Pakistan's captain won the toss and chose to bat first. What

followed was a shambolic collapse of the Indian batting line-up,

with Shaheen Shah Afridi wreaking havoc in the Indian top

order, dismissing the in-form openers KL Rahul and Rohit

Sharma in the first three overs.

Virat Kohli, India's captain, played until the very end to help his

team to a respectable 151 runs for the loss of seven wickets in

their 20 overs. Harbhajan Singh, a former Indian spinner,

mocked Shoaib Akhtar ahead of the India-Pakistan match.

In a press conference, Harbhajan Singh asked Shoaib Akhtar

to beg the Pakistani squad to give India the walkover. Shoaib

Akhtar was quick to comment after Pakistan trounced the Men

in Blue.

“Haan bhai Bhajji (Harbhajan Singh)? Walkover Chahiye? Nahi

Chahiye? Accha!! Chalo koi nhi, relax, enjoy the game and

bardaasht karo!!”
