Cyber law is a part of legal system that deals with the internet , cyberspace and their respective legal issues. It includes broad area, encompassing several subtopics including freedom of expression Article 19 (1), access to and usage of the internet and online privacy. At lemmen point it’s a law of internet.
The first cyber law enactment comes as computer fraud and abuse act (CFAA) enacted in 1986. Cyber law deals with cybercrime, electronic or digital signature, intellectual property and data protection and privacy.
Cybercrime was defined by United Nation as two different categories:-
Narrow sense- any illegal behaviour directed by means of electronic operations that security of computer system and the data processed by them
Broader sense- any illegal behaviour directed by means of or in relation to a computer system or network including such crimes or illegal possession offering or distributing information by means of computer system network.

The court convicted Arif Azim under Section 418, 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code - this being the first time that cybercrime has been convicted. The court, therefore, released the accused on probation for one year. The judgment is of immense significance for the entire nation. Besides being the first conviction in a cybercrime matter, it has shown that the Indian Penal Code can be effectively applied to certain categories of cyber crimes which are not covered under the Information Technology Act 2000.
Cybercrime is growing rapidly in a modern world of globalization. As we are seeing in current scenario of this all over world pandemic COVID-19 . people come across so many problems and the crime catches fire so rapidly.
The corporate sector of our country hampered alot by cybercrime as it don’t shut it’s work it allows it’s employees to work from home from their pc and laptop which causes it’s personal data share with the employee pc which don’t have firewall and privacy security as compared to office place. Because of that by some random mail if even a single employee response that mail can hacked all the company’s secured data .
As a report prepared by Microsoft it tells that their was a random spike in cybercrime specially in India was its hub it give rise to terrisot activities as well as communal riots in current situation as we see the first situation when Tablighi jammat was become a major reason of spread this pandemic in our country people blame Muslim religion without focusing of its major cause and reason. Similarly as recently our festivals are coming both Hindus and Muslims but government lockdown again due to highly increase in cases but people give it another way through making fake news and viral it.

(3)But these aren't the only ways opportunistic scammers have sought to exploit the public. It wasn't long after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the 'PM CARES' coronavirus fund, that dozens of pretender websites encouraging unsuspecting people to donate to fake accounts emerged. Home Ministry officials have revealed that over 8,000 complaints were received from Indians at home and abroad who had been fooled into donating to spurious portal.
